Visit Ekudden, it has a beautiful sandy beach and access to all the facilites you'd need. While you are there, why not take a swim in their outdoor pool during summer? The beach at Snapen is popular amongst the locals with a great beach and big grass area to have a picnick or relax.

Hotel Vänerport rent out bikes to that you can get around the area in a pleaseant pace with fresh air and hopeful sunshine. There are several routs to bike to see the agricultural fields, forests and fantastic nature all around Mariestad.
